I have been working at Serco Group part-time (More than a year)

    Pros

In this job you are thrown in at the deep end and given support from a friendly team and team leaders in order to fulfil your role. No shift is the same and you are often in situations where your resolve and ability to empathise are tested. Once you can meet these challenges you can gain a good level of job satisfaction and feel a sense that you are making some difference to people's lives when they are in crisis. This job would be ideal for a student or someone who has just left uni who wish to gain more experience in social services, child care, psychology, legal or law enforcement.

    Cons

Being unable to do more for clients.
The position itself is not one that feels respected are understood for the level of pay and the level responsibility placed on you in some situations.

    Advice to Management

Remember their first responsibility is to the communities they serve rather than shareholders.
