Pros

Good vacation time you can accumulate up to 6 weeks. Good sick time days. Personal days. Flexible work schedules. Good training. My colleagues are friendly in the office. Work life balance. Nice to have a life outside of work and management is happy that we take vacation time.

Cons

Illusion of stability. Federal government overspent their budget now theirs budget cuts to public services. Hard to see most of my coworkers let go. If you don’t have a good TL your life will be miserable. One of my TLs was not good. Was lucky to get assigned a new TL and now life at work is so much better. Also the NPMT production quota expectations is unrealistic for the type of work you get. Some tasks take longer with the revised WIs you’re assigned to solve complex claims. This causes other PSOs to cut corners to complete tasks faster but causes errors in finalizing claims. Had to fix other issues caused by other PSOs. Hope the directors realize that. All directors think about are the numbers and production quota. Not the quality of the work done. At the end of the day, it’s about serving the clients to ensure that they’re happy with the service and accuracy of their claims being processed.
