Pros

I got paid well but I negotiated hard coming in.

Cons

Very touch and go on compliance. I saw a lot of questionable practices. Very abusive managers on a lot of teams. They will constantly disturb you with lots of unproductive long meetings and impossible demands making it effectively impossible to gain traction. And after actively ruining your attempts to have a good workday, thy will push you out for not getting traction. Only suitable for experienced people. Terrible for newcomers to industry.

Pros

Only when you are deathly ill, are you allowed to continue working from your home office.

Cons

Management is sneaky and secretive. There’s no communication. No one knows what they do all day outside of create unnecessary work for others and keep changing critical processes that usually end up being more of a problem than an improvement with very little information. But what’s it to them when they don’t have to deal with the customers that will be impacted? I don’t know how there can be so many glitches and bugs with a product. These issues aren’t shared with with the right teams so when customers complain their project managers are blind sighted. Everything is a blame game and no one takes accountability. There is zero flexibility. Since there is so much mindless work piled on people there isn’t great work/life balance. Worst of all there’s no value in the work. There is no communication when internal positions are available and people are held back from moving into the right role. When employees ask about growth opportunities from their manager they are told to visit the internal search engine. Seems like a good way to develop your workforce.. Why do chaplains walk around the office?? Nice enough people but religion is not for the workplace. It’s very uncomfortable.
