Pros

Working here feels like you are part of something really special. You are made to feel like you have a voice and can contribute and be heard. Management are really supportive and want to see you do well and are invested in your professional progress.

Cons

Work load can be a lot at times but that comes with a growth focused company at this stage.

Pros

The culture at SourceWhale is like nothing I've ever been a part of before. It's full of passionate, intelligent, supportive and positive individuals that make coming to work enjoyable. You can feel that people want to be here and we encourage everyone to have fun and be themselves. There's a solid vision at SourceWhale and its clear that everyone genuinely wants to succeed together. Collaboration across all departments is a huge part of what makes it a great place to work. I've personally never felt so valued as an employee. There's genuine trust and full autonomy to try new things, come up with suggestions and with that comes a huge chance to make an impact and learn new skills. Employees are invested in here with clear career pathways to achieve promotions - the amount of promotions that have been given since I've joined is insanely good. There's also a future leadership programme which provides great tools to employees that want to step up into a leadership role. Finally, the management team are the most down to earth, humble leaders I've experienced. They genuinely value everyone's opinion and consistently keep the company informed with our goals and how we're doing as a business financially - this is rare.

Cons

As with most startups, it's very fast paced. That means there's a lot of responsibility and you'll be wearing multiple hats throughout the day. This isn't a bad thing but if you're not comfortable working hard e.g - towards tight deadlines, and doing things outside your job role, then SourceWhale probably isn't the company for you.

Cons

- lack of a central office has its downsides, particularly socially - team is spread a bit thinly at times
