Pros
It is really nice to walk into a high-end environment everyday and think 'wow, I manage this place,' but the novelty wears off quickly. You feel like you are part of something cool, revolutionary, and hip. Some of the nicer clients were the only reason I stayed as long as I did and the networking potential is huge. If you are looking for a new job- look to your clients. They know from working with you how good your work ethic is and many of them would either offer themselves as a reference or give you a job with their company. It was located in a super central and convenient location.
Cons
The work load can be impossible and thankless. I was the highest performing manager in our cluster and when I indicated that I was stressed out about my workload, I was punished instead of supported. I worked countless unpaid overtime hours and it wasn't logistically possible to take the time back in lieu. When I left, they replaced me with two people. Most of the team within the cluster are volatile, toxic, and two-faced who constantly back stab and only have their own interests at heart. All the good ones leave eventually. It's not even the difficult clients that you have to worry about.
