Pros

You'll gain exposure to a diverse range of client projects and industries. This is great if you're starting your career and looking to gain experience.

Cons

The business is family owned and the business owners run the business like a family. The boundaries between personal and professional relationships were often blurred. As the business scaled this approach became problematic and led to performance issues. Workload was distributed unequally, overloading top performers. Compensation often doesn't match role and responsibilities (there were no clear salary brackets per job title). Managers were not empowered to support their teams effectively. The business owners were not open to feedback or suggestions for change.
