Pros

Our team goes above and beyond to care for people within our own community, and it's exciting to be a part of this team. I feel that I am able to contribute to my team and that I am acknowledged for my contributions. This company treats our employees well, and happy employees take great care of patients.

Cons

I do not feel that there are any cons to working for this company.

Pros

Meeting nice patients and family members. Patients become extended families. Those are the only pros of working out of the Daphne office.

Cons

Bad management has ruined the Daphne hospice office. The daphne hospice office is very poorly and very unprofessionally run. The good nurses are quiting weekly. Instead of management accepting responsibilty for their actions, management makes tons of excuses as to why staff has decided to leave, and of course none of the reasons they give have anything to do with management. If you do your work you then get dumped on because you are expected to do the work of others that slack off. There is no one to talk with about your concerns because it is a small company and nothing is held in confidence. When attempting to speak with mgt you are often belittled and told your issues are unfounded that this is the best hospice company in this area. If you speak up you will be ridiculed. It is a regular occurrence for the branch manager to trash staff members with other employees. Manager rarely works a full day or a full 40hr week. You often have to just figure out solutions to issues concerning your patients on your on because there is no one to assist you. They are currently having to replace nearly all of the nurses no one stays because of the poor management.
