Pros
- Colleagues were mostly great to work with. - You get to visit other departments and learn more about their work processes. - Public transport is convenient as there are two MRT stations in the vicinity, Lavender and Bendemeer.
Cons
- Management might not give you an employment contract, even if you have repeatedly asked for one, and they will just come up with some absurd excuse and "forget" about it afterwards. And because of this, your employment status will be really unclear if you are not a full-timer and they can pretty much do whatever they want with you. - Management would often assign work that is outside of your job scope. To put it bluntly, they will throw the most menial work for you to handle, on top of the actual work that you still have to deal with. - Despite taking on more responsibilities and transitioning into a higher level position, management will delay increasing your salary and if they actually do, they don't pay competitively and salary amount does not reflect your workload and performance - For some reason, the EP likes to have meetings or conduct zoom interviews at the comfort of his table instead of somewhere private and enclosed like in the meeting room. There have been times where some of these talks were "not so positive" and the whole office can hear what's being said. - High turnover rate, most months there will be at least one employee leaving the company - Overall a toxic work environment that's pretends to have a fun culture.
