To all considering applying for open vacancies at Star Entertainment (Berlin or Lisbon), avoid them. I was hired for the position of Head of Marketing and never received my salary. Every time you send your invoice (because all positions are freelance/contractor-based) it is reviewed by the CEO and some other team members if you are going to be paid. When you ask person X they say that person Y is responsible. Then you go to person Y, and you receive info that person Z is the one handling that part. Then person Z says that you should communicate with with X and Y.... The whole internal organization is chaotic and super dysfunctional. Turnover of employees is at an extremely high level. Internal communication and teamwork do not exist. They are using WhatsApp as the main communication tool, where are certain rules about what you are allowed to post and when.

An extremely chaotic hiring process, no conditions presented, they promise you salary but later you learn there is no proper contract but receibo verde only (illegal). But "they need you asap" and promise amazing possibilities. Issues with getting paid at all for the work you did. No onboarding at all, everyone super stressed, CEO horribly unpleasant, rude, very full of himself. People come and go ever week. Avoid, avoid, avoid!
