Pros

There are none. There were some amazing people in the beginning before Amdoc's acquired the company, but they made sure to lay them off or send them running for the hills as they bulldozed over any positive thing that once existed.

Cons

Some of the most arrogant and dishonest leadership I have ever experienced teamed with such little regard and barely concealed contempt for their employees. Utterly toxic and not a place I would ever recommend to anyone.

How sad to watch the destruction of some really great companies

Pros

Talented kind individual contributors trapped in the ranks

Cons

Over a series of about 4 years, Amdocs purchased really strong design and dev shops and rolled them into their projekt202 (recently renamed Stellar Elements) brand. These acquisitions were rich with talent, carried strong and loyal customer bases and had brand recognition and respect in the market. Once acquired, false promises were made and broken and strong individual leadership teams were replaced with an absolute incompetent group of Sr. Corporate staff. Strong cultural alignment and excitement to serve has been replaced by personal agendas and CYA motivations that drives this group of incompetent and tone deaf individuals. And it just keeps getting worse. This new name and completely out of touch Marketing team is taking a bad situation and making it worse. Word salad that says nothing other than an absolute incompetence in how new business is developed and how brands are built, is being force feed under the veil of corporate threats of layoffs for anyone not acting like they are 'drinking the kool-aid' Many of the most talented folks have fled with many more searching for a new home. It is hard to watch cultures be destroyed and clients we have come to care for, receive mediocre services as a result. The trajectory here is not good. Avoid this place if you have any other options at all.

We want to acknowledge that the challenges you've highlighted stem from a series of acquisition decisions that preceded the current leadership team. A company lashing out in its final death throes

Pros

You'll be underpaid, but it's a paying job nonetheless. You'll occasionally work with smart, creative people, but do not be surprised when they are fired or laid off.

Cons

Run. If you're a woman, run twice as fast. Whatever it is you think I mean by that...you're correct. The words malice and contempt come to mind. This is a company that hates their employees. There is a salary freeze that has gone on for years with no end in sight. You will never be promoted. Layoffs are frequent and always lurking around the corner. The client pipeline is dry as a bone and the white men at the helm are too convinced of their own preciousness to recognize they are walking among ruins of their own making. Last year's rebrand to Stellar Elements and overhaul of the marketing department was one of the most baffling, bad faith efforts I have ever seen. It's as if the marketing leadership seems intent on the company dying. There is no other explanation.

We sincerely thank you for your dedicated service during your four+ years with us. We appreciate your feedback, and we take all concerns seriously. It's disheartening to hear that you felt undervalued or unsupported during your time with us. We acknowledge the challenges we've faced and remain dedicated to continuous improvement. However, we must clarify that our salary freeze was implemented solely in 2023, and we have promotion opportunities available based on merit and performance. While we've navigated macroeconomic challenges and faced layoffs, we challenge the assertion regarding our client pipeline. Our client relationships remain strong, and we continue to pursue new opportunities. Our goal is to foster an inclusive and respectful workplace where all employees feel valued and empowered to succeed regardless of gender or background. Thank you for sharing your perspective, and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
