Pros

Stillwater was an amazing place to gain experience in the insurance world. The leadership of the company is great and easy to work with. Additionally, the work environment was a plus for me. The Jacksonville office is located near a multitude of good food options and the company has a relaxed 'business casual'-style dress code. I'd highly recommend Stillwater Insurance to any potential applicants.

Cons

I can't think of any negatives related to my Stillwater work experience.

Pros

Used to be a great place to work, that cared for work/life balance. New Claim VP started a month ago, and dissolved field units, Large Loss and all supervisors related to those teams. No warning and no reason.

Cons

New VP of claims decided to suddenly get rid of all field adjusters, field supervisors, QA team and has caused numerous inside staff to quit since joining the company 4 weeks ago. No warning, and no rhyme or reason to his decisions and direction he is trying to take the company. Potential job seekers be warned.
