Not getting 11 hours between shifts. The GM will argue that hospitality staff aren't entitled to it. This is entirely untrue, as confirmed by both Acas and Unite. Company wasn't paying in employees pensions however were taking them from paychecks. Same with national insurance (They are currently under investigation by the HMRC for fraud) Wages were not getting paid either on time or sometimes not at all. You would be lucky to get a rota on time. Sometimes the rota goes out just 7 hours before you're expected to work a shift which is entirely in reasonable. Most of the hotel needs an overhaul. The company doesn't pay any invoices. The staff block is covered in Black mold and has caused health problems and should be shut down by environmental health. Do yourself a favour and find a better company to work for.
