      relaxed environment (hiring more people than actually needed)

      Cons

      Top management recruits, retains and promotes ONLY people they know - it does not matter if they have the necessary skills or not. Top and heavy management structure, most of whom don't have the skills for the job - a total drain on investor funds. Those who have the needed skills for the job but not part of the circle are literally pushed out. Leadership promotes a 'clique' culture .

      Pros

      Company pioneering technology to addressing global warming through CO2 capture and storage. Great sense of purpose. Great mix of talent from R&D, product design, manufacturing and business development. Culture of growth, no fault mentality that is result driven.

      Cons

      International talent may not like Canadian salaries. Competing in a global market to develop a global product require to hire the very best.

      The company is all about showing off—an impoverished engineering background in product and manufacturing team. There is no structure in the company, politics play the most important role. Presenting your work very well is way more important than the quality of your work. This is what they value
