Pros

Sysmex UK Nice enough family run company. People have been there since leaving school!!

Cons

Micro management - Stuck in the 1990's , of which one still has no idea on the changes in the NHS has an affect on how we go to market. Expecting sales to fall through the door as soon as identified! Does not recognise top sales people. Bonus structure poor, not in keeping with the other MEDTECH companies . Do not listen to team . It's my way ... People have been there too long

Pros

It is a good company to work for.

Cons

Some bureaucracy makes the processes a bit slow and their internal systems seem not to be very interconnected and they tend to be quite manual.

Pros

-The work can be entertaining and engaging for the most part. -camaraderie between majority of the company is nice and healthy.

Cons

-when there are issues, management and HR will do absolute minimum to keep themselves out of the fire while "protecting their own" << a phrase repeated by a lot of people in the company. -there is clear favoritism from management to certain staff even though said staff are frequently outperformed by others. - the work environment in service and logistics could be incredibly toxic. and again management would spend most of the time pointing fingers rather than addressing glaring issues. - there is little incentive to excel in a position as all it will earn you is aggravation from middle management who just come off as being bitter about being shown up. -management heavily push everyone to follow process and what they refer to as 6 attitudes / 5 E's, this is except for managerial staff like middle management. (it's okay to break process as long as you're a manager but if you do so as a peon -even if the outcome is a good one- you get blasted.
