Pros

There are some good people there. But they don't influence the whole company spirit.

Cons

CEO of the company is selfish, narcissistic and very unprofessional. Be expected to be criticized from the first days of your job. I am not joking, you will literally be criticized for that you should start delivering things from the next day of your work, need to understand why it is working like that etc. No one cares about any onboarding here and the top company environment is very toxic. Company employees admit disgusting CEO behavior, but (from their words) they got used to him and the rest of the team has already left the company. Very bad experience, if you don't want to look for a new job after one or two weeks at Talarian, skip this company.

Problematic Management

Pros

Good salary if you ask for it Interesting products

Cons

Lack of structure: No clarity as to who does what. No project management. Multiple people/teams working on the same topic with no coordination permitted by management. Lack of strategic mindset: No clarity as to why things are done, what objectives are pursued or what should be delivered. No efforts to onboard employees and engage them around a shared vision. Toxic working conditions: Micro-management, information retention, emotional blackmailing, gaslighting. Repeated cutting remarks, disparaging and infantilizing comments. What you do or say or ask is never ok, never enough. Employees’ thoughts, suggestions and abilities are not given consideration. Discussions go round in circles with inconsistencies and denial of what was previously said to you. What’s constant, though, is the badmouthing of current and past employees from management at all levels. Voicing your concerns has no impact (tried to, to no avail). There’s no willingness to improve the situation on anyone’s part. High employee turnover: Frequent layoffs, spontaneous departures and burnouts.

Pros

full remote working is authorized

Cons

Previous comments are still valid on every points: no onboarding, toxic management, no employee consideration etc. Terrible experience. No questioning or intention to improve things from management despite sharing what's wrong and making suggestions on how to change it. People are well aware of the problematic management but they are just "used to it". Huge turnover, new hires stay only a few weeks (if not less).
