Pros

No pros what so ever. Literally the worst company I have ever worked for, only pro I could say was meeting the service users.

Cons

Worst company I have ever worked for, considering it was my first proper care job, it gave me a very bad outlook on the whole care sector, thinking is every company like this? Thankfully not and I'm very happy in my new care job. Firstly I was told in my interview that I would be kept local and would never be sent too far. That was a total lie and I was sent most times 27 mile away from my home. When I said I wasn't happy to do that they always used the excuses everyone is in the same boat, when in actual fact the colleagues I worked with had literally about 3 calls for their block and I had 6 for tea calls which ideally your only suppose to have at the most 4 as your meant to spend the allocated time which was 30 minutes with each client, and not including the travel time between calls. I asked for my availability to be changed due to going back to college, I was told it would be sorted sooner than most as it's my education. It had been 2 weeks and I was told it would be 1 week max. Then it ended up I rang a crisis team member and I was told I had refused to work as I wasn't working Sundays anymore and wasn't going to and I'd have a disciplinary. Then I had another run in when I had checked my work phone the night before as I was supposedly be working all day then next day but I had no outstanding visits. So woke up as normal for work on the morning and still no work, so as in the past I assumed okay I've got I work as there isn't enough hours at the moment as I was told. So made plans with my sister. Next thing I know I've got a disciplinary for missed visits and was told I'd either be getting a written warning or getting sacked as soon as hr look into it. So glad I left this company, it done nothing for my health, I had doctors appointments for being stressed and having a lot of mental breakdowns whilst at work because too much work was being put onto me at once whilst others didn't have the same work load and were closer to the areas I was being sent to. Never ever worked will I refer anyone to this company, never felt this way about a company in my past jobs, but this company isn't organised, staff get treat unfairly and basically don't appreciate the good staff they have working for them, but praise those who mess up on a lot of stuff. Very bad management and hr are just as bad for covering up the managers footsteps and mistakes in the office. I just hope people read this before working for this company. Also if you do or are working for them, make sure you check your wages as they also try and jip you with that aswell.
