Pros

The production dept are undoubtably one of the best in the world, the amount of producers and assistants means they are dominating the market and being awarded bigger and bigger jobs. They also have an eye on future treads and invest heavily into client experiences. Working with the producers is a professional experience in general. The quality and dedication of the artists is admirable, In general, the artists are a really fun creative bunch and you'll have a great laugh there. Other pro's - The benefits such as health insurance, free breakfast and beverages, snacks etc. The location in Fitzrovia allows for a great selection of places for lunch and to wander, however, not so close to a tube stop as other facilities. The offices are newly built, modern, clean and spacious. Evening meals provided and taxi's offered if working past 11pm. Comfy sofa's for sleeping on when all nighters are expected.

Cons

Like many of the reviews here, I experienced a lack of transparency, there are no clear guidelines for staff in how to progress or achieve a pay rise. Either you will be told you need to improve your relationship with production and clients, or if/when you have that, you'll be told it's something else that results in a minimal pay rise, if any, despite your performance. Currently there are a lot of members of the 2D dept leaving, the reasons somewhat can be put down to lack of support amongst management, and the clicky feel to the dept. Everyone is in competition with each other and staff are treated differently depending on who you're friends with. It is becoming harder to shine as the company get larger and larger, and it appears that working long hours is how management review your dedication to the company and reward you rather than noting the quality of work produced.

They create some good work, but overall there are better competitors who treat people better.

Cons

People are not appreciated, they create a lot of bad feeling by the way they treat people,

Pros

Challenging projects. Will look great on your CV for future interviews. Food and drinks are provided to staff everyday so you don't think too much about how underpaid you are.

Cons

Employees with a long experience at the company are untouchable and you'll see how they can make sexists / racists jokes / make runners cry, without facing any consequences. Really difficult to get promoted, specially if you don't spend enough time at the pub with the right people. Doesn't matter how hard you work. Snob culture. Ridiculous amount of unpaid overtime. They'll take the piss if you are a foreigner and pretend to get a salary raise. Unlike other companies in the same industry, it is VERY rare to see non white-British employees on higher positions (two or three are the exception that proves the rule). Anyway they love to brag about their diversity week.
