- say they will pay you on time but never does, giving lots of excuses. i was paid every 4-6 months despite chasing every week each month - definitely takes advantage of tutors being university students who need the money to afford daily expenses and cannot afford to pursue legal action - parents pay monthly tuition in advance but im quite sure this money is used to fund the boss's other business (genspace.ai) so there is no money to pay tutors until he makes the money back - responsibility to pay tutors is tossed around between finance, admin and boss (Josh) as no one wants to do it (e.g. admin team will ask you to ask finance team, who will tell you to ask boss, who will ask you to ask finance team...) - admin team can be rude and passive aggressive - delay as admin team only tells tutors the lesson is cancelled hours after the lesson or even only when you ask what happened (you are not allowed to contact students/parents directly) - if there is a no show, you may not be informed and will be left there waiting (completely unpaid!!!!) - i personally wasn't even informed on 2 separate occasions that my student had discontinued, having joined the usual lesson and waited there.. wasting my time. i was only informed after asking admin team multiple times

Support tutors with materials if needed.

Cons

Payment was often delayed despite the handbook stating that payment would be released on the 15th of the following month. Follow-up communication was also challenging, as responses from the team were slow and unclear. In some cases, I was asked to contact the owner directly regarding payment, but the promised transfer was still not completed on time. Rescheduling arrangements were also difficult due to slow replies and poor communication.
