I worked in Marketing at the National Support Office in North Melbourne, and my time there was incredibly stressful. Constant changes upon changes in design work make it nearly impossible to keep up or spend long enough on anything to do it well.
My manager there was not supportive and would regularly add to the difficulty, and not be receptive to feedback.
The head of marketing there was what made my experience working there truly intolerable. A loud, crass presence, he has no regard for creating a respectable working environment, makes crude and inappropriate jokes, and takes serious liberties with his behaviour during company events.
This is not uncomment among the upper management, and I overheard some truly disgusting disparaging comments said by these senior members of staff. They do not set a good example at all.
The HR department are unhealpful. I reported a case of sexual harrassment in the workplace, and they took little to no action, which made me feel too uncomfortable to continue working there.
