Pros
- A few supportive colleagues who make the workday more bearable - Opportunity to gain experience if you’re new to the industry
Cons
- Very poor management and lack of professionalism - Old machines that constantly break down and are rarely maintained - No extractor fans, leaving staff exposed to harmful substances daily - Health & Safety concerns ignored because directors refuse to spend money on improvements - Management clearly have favourites and show obvious bias - Older staff frequently belittle newer employees, dismissed as “workshop banter” - Bullying and harassment complaints not taken seriously, even during grievance procedures - Poor communication and lack of respect from management - Probation extended unfairly for previously discussed absences and minor lateness - High staff turnover due to poor working conditions and low morale
