Pros

Location: Only a couple of minutes' walk from Victoria station Travel: If you are lucky enough to fall into favour, you'll get to go on some amazing trips and attend fantastic hosted events

Cons

Atmosphere: Pretty poor. Very little social aspect. Cliquey. Progression: Very little progression offered. People can be promoted without fairness or transparency. No focus on building careers within Travel Weekly. More about what you can do for them then what they can do for you. Salary: Such inconsistency with salary. An attempt to pay favoured few much higher than deserved but pay new starters poorly. Communication: Dire. Managers do not regularly communicate with teams leading to a sense of frustration. Unprofessional: Some extremely unprofessional emails were witnessed whereby senior managers were encouraging junior managers to get rid of team members. Bullying: I was pretty much bullied out of the company. As it is such a small company, no fair HR in place.
