Start Up mistakes - as with all start ups, many mistakes are made and learnt from (you'd hope so) quickly. Many hires into senior positions were not needed and just the wrong fit. Especially the person (RN) chosen to lead, run and grow the UK office.
His background apparently being excelling in sales and running teams. This was immediately seen through by myself and one or two others in the UK, He hid behind his spreadsheets, Hired in his two best friends to the business, Moved the office north to suit him and his friends. No training provided, Made up reasons to let staff go without giving them the chance to challenge or understand the reasoning. Toxic environment mainly focused around drinking put in place by him. He did what he could to divide relationships in the team to benefit his motives and plans. Lied about what other team members had done. All round bad egg - and great to see he is no longer there as of last year.
