Pros

- I want to say the people still, but who that is good is even still left?

Cons

- I don't understand this last layoff at all. We didn't hit our goals so...we're not holding leadership accountable (common pattern) and we're firing some of the only folks who actually know our stack and our flows? - I was reading reviews and someone mentioned "leaders who are glorified spreadsheet managers", and I can't agree with this more. I have only ever seen the chief product officer, the chief commercial officer, and the chief of staff either talk some sales pitch-y garbage or present spreadsheets. They have 0 real understanding of how anything works and just play politics to stay in leadership positions. - My team is usually on the front line of major issues, and around 6 of the people they let go are the folks who even did anything when any major issue came up.

Pros

Super smart hard-working people who do not get rewarded for their contributions.

Cons

I remember being thrilled to join a young, innovative company with fantastic compensation, great colleagues, and a vibrant culture. Joke's on me, because that all fell apart after a few months. Vista may be pulling the strings, which is expected for a large VC that acquires tech companies, but TripleLift's management is too incompetent to handle the pressure, and it's the employees who are paying the price. Everything you've read is true: silent layoffs, manipulative performance review programs, “anonymous” surveys, constantly shifting quotas—even mid-quarter—rules that change daily without any clear processes, and a pervasive sense of unfairness. Hard work and high-quality output won’t get you anywhere; it’s all about how well you suck up to Mr. Lasso and his team. Salaries don’t increase over time—in fact, they’ll probably decrease, just like your mental health. People are leaving one by one—those who are lucky, by choice; the unlucky, by forced redundancy. Those still at the company are spending their free time job hunting. I hope management is actually reading these reviews and realizing the damage they’ve done. I left a while ago and still can’t believe how much the company has deteriorated over the years I was there. We’re constantly giving out recommendations and referrals to help current employees find a way out.
