Workload is heavy and often unrealistic, especially after a layoff amidst COVID-19 financial struggles and restructuring, a lot of senior level leadership turnover, in the last 1-2 years, remaining long-time senior leaders are losing sight of the organization's cause and are more money and appearances focused, rather than people and community focused, staff members who are not the best fit are "favorites" and promoted to positions not posted, while other well-qualified employees are required to apply for internal positions and repeatedly overlooked, some leaders and managers are bullies and allowed to remain such even when the behavior is repeatedly reported, some supervisors also keep their well-qualified staff members stuck in positions and hire externally for promoted positions, staff is encouraged to exhibit transparency in communication, yet there is a lot of secrecy with organizational changes, the Board of Directors are not always given the true state of affairs and is instead offers what sounds good, leaders preach "Servant Leadership", but do not exhibit it themselves, some key staff was let go in a COVID layoff while other less dedicated and less capable employees remain -- quality employees are not cheap!
