Pros

Interesting product in the MES space, there is beer on tap in the office, and there are some really smart people

Cons

Absolutely awful culture. There is massive incompetence in the sales department, starting at the top of the chain. Marketing and sales viewed as second rate citizens as they are not engineers. Commissions do not get paid on time and the team is totally mismanaged.

Awful Experience

Pros

Cool product, in fast paced industry, gives all the cool start-up perks, free lunch, snacks, etc. Unlimited PTO but never get a chance to use it.

Cons

Horrible culture starting from the top down. Most individual Contributors are taken advantage of, worked to the bone and treated like they are 100% dispensable. Good luck making any money or getting paid commission on time/ at all. There is a reason this place is a revolving door.

Thanks for the feedback, which we take seriously, even if it is negative. It's unfortunate that you felt you had this experience, and we are a culture that embraces all feedback, but much of what is stated here is untrue. We pay our people, sales and otherwise, on time and at or above industry market benchmarks. The result is that we are also 30%+ below industry average on attrition. Our low attrition rates help to show the passion our people have for working at Tulip. Also we have unlimited PTO and encourage our people to take vacations, and we even had several Reset Days (additional all-company Fridays off work) over the past 6mo to make sure people recharge and balance work and life. Good luck on your next role!
