      Micromanagement and immature leadership.

      Pros

      People are genuinely nice, some are kowledgable. Salary is OK.

      Cons

      Teams are siloed, benefits are lacking, and people at the top have ridiculous amounts of power and constantly inflated titles. I've never worked somewhere with such intense micromanagement before, and over the past 2+ years I've seen a definite increase in this style of working. Some people enjoy the once per year in person meet-up the company puts on, but the drama that comes from it is not worth the hassle. Criticise management or a member of the leadership team and you'll be fired. I can't wait to leave.

      Pros

      Unfortunately, I was one of the people affected by tech redundancies at Typeform. I wanted to share that the aftercare and support following my departure have been above and beyond, and I genuinely appreciate the people team showing empathy and providing support during those challenging months. The recruiter who hired me stayed in touch and even helped me by reviewing my portfolio and giving interview training. I have now found a new role and had a positive experience, even though it was slightly bittersweet.

      Cons

      Being let go after a short time, but it's an industry-wide issue.

      Pros

      - New Leadership team in place who are cohesive and at the top of their game - Investing in the product and creating collaboration between technology and product - Focus on ways of working particularly around how to improve decision making - Remote but not distant, we are starting to optimise asynchronous working to collaborate cross functionally across different time zones

      Cons

      - We have an opportunity to bring more insights from our customers to the people who work at Typeform so that we can understand better how we are perceived externally
