Pros

Remote auditing and coding positions.

Cons

In preparation for a contract slated to start October 1st 2016, I was hired specifically as part of a team being put together. As I was leaving secure employment for a chance for advancement, I was concerned about being let go if the contract fell through. I was PROMISED that if that did not work out there were other clients and my employment was secure. I started in mid September 2016. As the weeks went on and hardly any auditing were coming in, I had a feeling that too many auditors were hired. As the audits that were coming in were being divided up between ten + auditors just so we all had something to work on. The reasons I was let go are still not clear to me. I was totally blindsided. In fact I was commended on my professional skills the week prior to my termination. I am the first to volunteer for projects and to help out in any way I could as I want to be a successful member of the team. My only conclusion is that the contract was not working out as originally planned, the company hired too many auditors, they were losing money and I was terminated. I had recommend colleagues to join the team and now I regret that and hope that they are secure in their positions.

Pros

Average pay and remote work

Cons

2 years without raises. Benefits extremely expensive and go up every year. Terrible 401K match. No room for growth.

Pros

Company does what they promise. My immediate supervisor is extremely knowledgeable and accessible even though we are remote. Good benefits, PTO, holiday pay, some overtime but has not been mandatory in my experience. REviews are on time. LOTS of opportunity for advancement and they want to promote from within. I have gained invaluable experience working for a major health system.

Cons

Would like to have more flexibility but that is not due to UASI, but to the obligation to the client so is to be expected in this type of career. The education department could be more accessible. Still not sure about CEU's available other than I10 education.
