I have been working at UBS full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Strong Culture and sense of ownership of work. People and culture make it an enjoyable place to work. Communication with organisation very positive.

    Cons

Ongoing retention of staff at times is difficult with salary rewards limited. A lot of re-org, every 6months for numerous years causes confusion and inefficient change rather than focus on work.

I have been working at UBS part-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Brilliant atmosphere and appreciated by colleagues and managers. Been there for over 10hrs so must be a good place to work

    Cons

The salaries have not changed in about 5years unless you are promoted, the salaries are now out of market levels

    Advice to Management

Increase salaries more substantially for those promoted, or people will not feel appreciated and will leave.

I worked at UBS full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great benefits package including being able to take up to 10 days additional holiday, flat management structure, working with lots of good people, ability to quickly implement process improvements

    Cons

Far too many mid level managers delegating responsibility whilst taking credit, teams/individuals can often be overworked without this being addressed, systems are generally ill thought out and a constant struggle

    Advice to Management

Think Ermotti is taking the Bank in the right direction now
