I worked at UBS full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

They have a nice new London Office

    Cons

To progress or get any acknowledgement for your work its about how much noise you make about what you do rather than having made any genuine input or contribution. They are by far the biggest box ticking organisation I have ever witnessed. False corporate noise about progression, reward etc. They like to make everything seem bigger than it is, ultimately driven by the bottom line there is no fairness or honesty. Wasted 8+ years. I have taken my 25 years experience elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Take a long hard look at UBS, not just your own salaries, you need to look yourself and not trust what you are told, you are being fooled into believing everything is fine, that or you don't care. You have endless good people leaving, departments with blue collar bullies, racist homophobes that you ignore. Teams with 4 or more people leaving in a short period of time should ring alarm bells. People getting jobs that they should not have even made the CV sift for is again something you should be looking at.
