Pros

Awesome place for kids, not for adults.

Cons

If you like being screamed and treated like you're worthless... this is a perfect job for you. The owner is there some of the time and when she is it can be really good or REALLY BAD. They have a hard time holding on to teachers and a lot of that is because of management and the owner. Management will throw you under the bus to stay in the good graces of the owner, even when they messed up. No one takes responsibility. The teachers that have been there for a long have Stockholm syndrome. They see it, but they also have been beaten down and built by the owner they don't think they can go somewhere else or deserve better. They push family, to make you feel like you should be doing everything for them. When you leave they act like you never existed or talk trash about you to make the management and owner look like they did no wrong. If you're the owner's friend you will get paid way better than others. Teacher's appreciation is great. You take trips and it's all smiles, but it's NOT worth the treatment.

Pros

On the surface, the benefits and compensation package appeared competitive and attractive. However, I learned very quickly that these perks were not worth the immense, ongoing psychological stress and unprofessional treatment I was forced to endure.

Cons

The reality of working there was vastly different from the public-facing image. The owner maintained a carefully curated persona for the public and prospective clients, but behind closed doors, the environment was toxic, controlling, and deeply demoralizing. Management relied on micromanagement and intimidation rather than support. I was personally subjected to—and witnessed others endure—highly unprofessional behavior. It was not uncommon for staff to be belittled, cursed at, and subjected to demeaning language. The owner was obsessed with optics and perception above all else. The most significant source of stress was the frequent, staged tours. We were expected to maintain an impossible standard of perfection at all times to satisfy the owner’s need for an impressive narrative. If a classroom was not "show-ready"—even due to natural, expected occurrences like a child having an accident—the reaction from leadership was explosive and unprofessional. The expectations were consistently unrealistic and overbearing, which created a climate of fear rather than a positive educational environment.
