      Pros

      Nurses on some floors are very supportive and fun. Self scheduling does help with work life balance. Pay is good for nurses. CEO does want good things for this hospital but with current management in place I fear that isn't possible.

      Cons

      Management is very difficult. Split second solutions are implemented daily. There is no input from staff to implement functional solutions to issues. Communication is HORRIBLE. Basically you will hear about changes via "the telephone game" aka I'll tell you and you tell a few friends. High turn over so you will be asked to work or stay late almost every day.

      Pros

      Start pay pretty good but stingy with raises, excellent majority of patients and a lot of the staff there are friendly and for the most part team players, easy to get hired

      Cons

      Can't keep staff, under staffed, unwilling to be flexible for furthering education, high stress and fear based because there is not any support for staff, Raises are very small, will hire anyone

      Immediate staff were very friendly and helpful as were the majority of managers I met and worked with.

      Cons

      Supervisor was at a loss to explain why I was not "a good fit" just prior to terminating my employment.
