Good Company Stuck in an Awful Contract
Pros
Good pay and flexible schedule. Mileage / fuel (if applicable); reimbursement and travel expenses paid. Good group of people within VendiBean to work with. Some were great for a laugh at times too ! Relatively easy line of work. General cleaning / disinfecting and restocking with some intermediate repairs requiring tools and some mechanical aptitude. Small, California based start-up. Paid training and accessible training tutorials for reference. If you have an EV, and you have a Tesla adaptor; there are locations available to charge... Delicious, free coffee !
Cons
Use your own vehicle, with lots of miles spent commuting. Very limited service area and number of machines, with no opportunity to transfer out of a terrible situation. Few hours available each week. No benefits. Frequent coffee machine glitches and discrepancies. EV chargers frequently inoperable where I am assigned. Some sharp metal edges on the inside of the machines that will cut you. Some of the hardware inside of the machines aren't exactly in the best - engineered place for accessibility for the user. The absolute worst clients to be stuck in a contract with; just because they are a Musk-monopoly they think they can own and dictate everyone and everything who is unfortunate enough to partner with them in the first place. Vendi is screwed into subservience with these tyrants just because of their profit margin. Servicing this place is as void as being in outer space itself.
