      Great people to work with on a day to day basis. Too top heavy; not enough investment in employees.

      Pros

      The people are great, you get some benefits with the job, lots of good potential for the company, many good managers who care about their employees.

      Cons

      Below average pay, hard to get a promotion (even with top results), hard to get any form of training, not great financial incentives, little appreciation from the top.

      Pros

      Since ABB took on their 'shambles of an HR' .... there is some structure.

      Cons

      Save yourself the trouble - apply for employment elsewhere. Lot's of back biting/stabbing, school playground politics and a dreadful work culture rife with swearing and incompetent leadership/management skills. Many have left this company due to low morale and lack of career progression. The American arm of ABB - Ventyx does not look after it's employees. Ventyx does not understand the true meaning of good customer service. Job you sign for is not what you will end up getting or doing. Many employees work in a climate of bullying and harassment.
