Great place to work if you embrace change

Pros

Frequently changing environment, new business opportunities, great growth potential What I love about vRad is that the environment is always growing, changing and providing a new challenge. A lot of investment is made into technology, making it fun to come into work and be able to work with brand new technologies. The flexible work schedule that most people get to take advantage of is also a nice perk. The overall office culture is pretty laid back and most people are great to work with. People who excel are recognized and are moved up into leadership. A lot of leadership at vRad has been born from regular part time or full time positions which shows the company promotes growing from within.

Cons

The radiology industry is always changing and facing new challenges. There have been a lot of negative comments about vRad but not all is in the control of the company. The radiology industry has been in turmoil for years. There have been ups and downs the entire time I have been at the company but if the industry is falling, the company can only do so much before its impacted as well. A lot of the complaints on Glassdoor come from people who didn't excel at work or just have a poor attitude all together. There are big things happening in radiology and vRad is going to be riding the wave ahead of the rest. As far as comments about the CTO, he has been more than encouraging when it comes to individuals careers, if the individual is willing to put in the work and prove they can lead. I dont understand why people "expect" things at work versus earn them. I guess that is an attribute of the modern day American culture.

Great, Challenging Company

Pros

- Challenging yet rewarding work - processes/priorities change daily, but that keeps it interesting - Career growth for those willing to work hard - Opportunities to collaborate with other departments - Leadership will give you feedback - positive or constructive - for your personal development - Flexible schedules for those meeting or exceeding job requirements - Making a difference in healthcare

Cons

Agree with the review a few days ago. I more have "warnings" for those who are looking to apply: - If you can't deal with a continuously changing, fast-pace environment, this is not the place for you. - Like most companies, there are different levels of performers. Unfortunately, the low performers are the loudest (you'll see their reviews below). The funny thing is, it doesn't take much to be a high performer. It's pretty simple actually. You really just need to be able to work independently, do quality work, and show you can meet the minimum job expectations. Management gives you TONS of chances and coaching too to help you get to that minimum threshold. - vRad is flexible with team members, but will let team members go if they can't cooperate with their boss, take too many breaks to gossip in the break room or on IM/emails. Even though you're one person in the company, vRad's work fluctuates, so when one person is slacking, it not only hurts their department, but the doctors and the patients waiting for our services.

Blind Management, Low Morale, Poor Forecasting

Pros

Nice coworkers, flexible schedule, casual dress

Cons

Awful morale, management is rude and clueless, management is absent much too often, benefits are a joke, HR is worthless and very unfriendly, company is floundering. Management thinks having potluck a will boost morale, when in reality they only make people fat which makes our benefits that much worse.

Pros

They seemed to focus on creating good culture and hiring people that feel good and can learn. Flexible with hybrid schedule and could choose when you were in office most times.

Cons

I was one of the laid off, but I didn’t take it negatively.

Pros

Many chances to take on more projects and move up. Executives welcome any suggestions on efficiency. Flexible work schedule; as long as projects get done on time!

Cons

There have been a lot of upper managements changes in the past, but I think we are headed in a good direction.

Pros

Fully remote position. Comprehensive training by patient and knowledgeable trainers. Friendly, supportive, and welcoming corporate culture.

Cons

Extremely mind numbing and repetitive work flow. Leads will force you to go available for new calls without giving you proper documentation time between calls or chats. Breaks are scheduled but some employees are allowed to take infinite amount of breaks even when short staffed leaving everyone else floundering around with no end to incoming support requests and calls. If you want a job that restricts when you can go to the bathroom and never knowing when your lunch break is going to be until the day of, this is the job for you! Hard to get time off approved. Super slow responses from management (HR, IT, and direct report to).
