Poorly managed, high employee turnover, no culture
Pros
- Gym membership - Travelling - Nice colleagues
Cons
Short version: KEEP AWAY!! Long version: - Management doesn't know how to manage people nor how to show respect for the people working for them. Employees and their job are humiliated, cooperation between team members is discouraged and bottom-up ideas are disregarded. No appreciation, just criticism. And good luck if you’re a girl!!! - Boring place to work. Nothing like a startup, very corporate. Management does not partake nor sponsor any socials, the office is a run down house with a couple of rats in it, no fun atmosphere, no free beers, no bean bags - just management wearing suits and acting like big guys. - Inexistent training - you're suppose to learn how to do your job on your own, with no support given by the management. People fear being bullied so they tend not to ask questions to the COO. - Inexistent communication - you may try to sell a product not actually knowing with certainty when it will arrive, whether it is actually working or certified or whether our suppliers have actually sent it. It’s fun, keeps the suspense going - also for the clients! - There’s a feeling of frustration amongst the employees, which actually explains the big turnover in staff. 8 people (including interns and PT) left the company in 9-10 months - I think that’s self-explanatory. - Benefits very different from the contract - the commission strategy is flawed and no perks, rewards were inexistent. COO not willing to change the commission strategy in a way that would make sense and would benefit the sales team. - No culture, no value, no ethic, no purpose (besides making money for the management).
