Pros

- teams have freedom to propose and choose projects to work on - top managers have realistic expectations from the teams - company provides everything you need to do your job

Cons

Sometimes competition from other companies forces teams to ship projects sooner or switch to another project. Both aspects might affect quality of the projects and team motivation.

Pros

They are really careful about laws. I have never had any problems with food payment, health insurance, or severance pay after termination of employment.

Cons

Having to work with the pressure that the studio will be closed if the set data cannot be accessed, they can make better choices regarding studio managers and develop better control parameters.

Pros

Hiring and onboarding was very straightforward and professional. There are a lot of benefits like lunch allowance. Fully remote approach. Teams are small in most cases.

Cons

Company closed its Berlin studio but sadly this was not communicated to me. Reimbursement for travel as not very transparent. Delivery and return of equipment was in my case lengthy and problematic, initially I had to use my own devices. In my personal experience, my direct manager, while I did like him on a personal level, seemed overwhelmed by the task and often delayed or cancelled important alignment meetings only to later complain about missing alignment and initiative. A lot of my contributions went unnoticed as a result. The "unlimited vacation" result in less vacation taken.

Best job of my life

Pros

All the team and the managers have confident on the employees. You're responsible of your work time (day by day, "unlimited" days off, holidays, etc), you have ownership of your tasks and projects, you are challenged every day. Very good culture (diversity, inclusion, work/life balance). Salary above the market, perks too. Full-remote job.

Cons

For now, I do not see, but I am maybe lucky with my team!

Pros

Voodoo is quite unique on his kind, it's not always easy to join a young and fast-growing tech company as you always need to adapt and be creative, no matter in which business unit you are working for. The easy and appreciable thing at Voodoo is that you can quickly be trusted by the Management if you are doing your job properly. For sure at the beginning you will need to prove oneself (as everywhere) but after that you will always be listened whatever if you are someone with 2 or 15 years experienced. Since I joined one year ago we had some really good time and of course some more difficult, but I always had the feeling that despite the full ownership you have on your project, you can easily ask advise or time with Management to discuss what you are working on. I had several experiences from mature tech to CAC 40 companies and it’s definitely with Voodoo values and culture than I’m more confident with. Advantages: • Fast growing company • Working atmosphere • Attractive compensation & benefits package • Based in the city center • Quality of internal and external events

Cons

As it's a young company, young managers need to be more trained and supported
