No work life balance. Avoid at all costs.

Pros

Some great people who you will learn from. Decent remote working flexibility.

Cons

Incredibly toxic environment overall. Staff turnover is incredibly high which is further proof of this. No sick leave allowed, I was told I had to attend meetings and keep working when I got severely ill. Despite trying to put in mental health training to suggest they care management simply do not. Experienced multiple panic attacks as a result of working here and having to be contactable around the clock (expected to reply to messages almost immediately and even outside working hours) and when this was mentioned to management they simply said the clients’ needs come first which sums up the agency’s entire outlook.

This company breeds toxic behaviour

Pros

Overall I'd say my experience here has been positive but maybe that has more to do with my personal demeanour than the company itself. There's some really talented people working here and you can guarantee that you'll be able to find like minded people and work with great clients.

Cons

Boy oh boy where do I begin. Leadership is just unbelievably toxic, not present and do not care about the work or the staff. It's a revolving door of unhappiness with extremely talented people coaxed in by high pay who leave as soon as they find a better place to go. I've seen people lives ruined in front of my eyes and have been gaslit by the senior team to thinking it wasn't their doing when it obvious was. I've never been in an environment so unbelievably soul destroying that it turns it's employees into toxic replicas of the senior management team. If you're in the company already or if you're considering joining please make the move to exit or keep looking - you won't find what you're looking for here. The world would be a better place if companies like this simply stopped existing. In regards to diversity, it's non-existent and not at all a priority so don't even bother with thinking this is a place that will accept or acknowledge your individual experience.

Pros

You get to work with some interesting clients.

Cons

No work-life balance whatsoever. It is quite literally impossible to complete the amount of work you're expected to handle within your assigned working hours, and when you bring it up, you're gaslit into doubting your abilities and told to work on it. No boundaries are set with clients when it comes to out-of-hours work and weekend texting, which you need to reply to pretty much immediately at all times. Due to the teams being so small and overworked, even falling ill is extremely stressful, you basically have to work through it when you do get ill. The turnover rate is truly astonishing, which is not surprising when the goal of the company seems to be to burn out every one of its employees. An already overworked staff is expected to take on more and more clients, while employees are made redundant (due to financial issues apparently), or they quit and are not replaced. I'm not sure whether it's that they're not charging their clients enough or whether the money just all goes to the higher-ups, but the whole company structure is severely, severely flawed. Also this is the least worrisome part of the entire experience, but there seem to be a lot of inflated titles within management, and in general, the whole company was massively oversold to me during the interview process. Advice to potential future employees: If you value your mental health and work-life balance, stay away!
