Pros

Being on the road away from the drama, stress, conflicts and the arguements that goes on in the warehouse.

Cons

Management constantly have their workers do all their work and would not hesitate on throwing their workers under the bus. They're so used to dealing with people that dont know their left to their right. This is not a hard job, but they make it so complicated than what it has to be. Never have I dealt with so much unprofessionlism.

The Industry leader- but not employee friendly

Pros

Worldpac is the leader in the Automotive aftermarket. It offers it's employee's relatively good benefits. Technologically advanced, Worldpac provides it's employee's with tools to help them succeed that no other company in the industry does.

Cons

There are very high stress levels in many departments at Worldpac. Prior to current ownership, it used to be a employee friendly company. That changed several years ago when upper level management changed. The company mantra now is "hit the number no matter what the cost"! Usually that cost is at the employee's expense. Their mental and physical health, and their personal lives. Upper management no longer views their employee's as assets, but rather see's them as "expendable commodities" that can be replaced at any time for a lower cost. Managements attitude is "where else are they going to go work?" Exempt employees are expected to regularly work six days a week with no additional compensation.

Pros

Initially many opportunities to be on the road delivering, reasonable vacation and sick days earned over time. Overtime available to those who wanted it, at least initially.

Cons

Less and less opportunities to be on the road delivering due to increased use of Third-Party Contract Drivers, many of which I was forced to train to take away my primary (and preferred) tasks of delivering. Daily tasks eventually went from primarily delivering car parts to primarily doing repetitive tasks inside the warehouse all day. Management was rude and very unfriendly most of the time. Forced (and random) overtime restricted personal life. Lunch break often pushed back to end of workday.
