Be wary of HR violations at Wasco Dubai

Pros

1) Work in key projects with big name clients if proposals are won. 2) Good learning opportunities, if projects are won. 3) Employees are friendly,

Cons

1) Ratio of projects won to projects bid in Dubai is poor. 2) In general, the atmosphere is demotivating since most employees are constantly worried about their job. 3) HR in Wasco Dubai was ineffective and mostly missing on the scene to address many challenges of employees. 4) Company chooses to violate UAE Federal labor laws by wilfully withholding employees' employment certificates, derailing their chances to advance to new career roles. It is a selfish and disingenuous gesture to offer in return to employees' long years of committment. 5) Over surplus of bureaucratic management means more infighting among siloed departments than getting the job executed.

Pros

Efforts are being made to create a more inclusive and supportive work environment, but there is still room for growth. Compensation is competitive within the industry but not necessarily the best. The benefits package is standard, covering essentials like healthcare and annual leave.

Cons

I have been working at this company as an HR Manager for years, and my experience has been fairly average in terms of work-life balance, leadership, and compensation. While some teams enjoy flexibility, others often experience long hours, especially during peak periods. Remote work options exist but are limited. Communication between management and employees could be improved, as there are occasional gaps in decision-making transparency. Salary increments and career progression can be slow, making long-term retention a challenge for some employees. It’s a good place for those looking for stability, but those seeking fast career growth may find it limiting.
