      Leads and managers truly live the values to support the most ambitious tech company in Africa

      Pros

      Ambitious like bezos, musk to make Africa the first cashless continent High talent bar across all functional groups -- smartest and most ambitious group of people I've ever worked with Very collegiate culture and the People team prioritizes the employee experience

      Cons

      Lots of travel (3-4x annual retreats mandatory + other work travel) but to wonderful cities and countries across Africa could be taxing for some Fully remote team across time zones can make some work outside usual work hours although the company is very flexible

As for the company retreats, they are great occasions for our remote hires to come to launch countries and meet other colleagues. For those that cannot travel, we encourage them to attend the virtual retreats so they can take part in some of the activities and still feel connected.

      If you don't like traveling or remote work you might struggle.
