    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Wavemaker full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    1) Work at an agency with a prestigious reputation. 2) Amazing growth opportunity - they're very good at helping people grow in the direction they'd want to whether that's promoted into more senior roles, new teams, or even moving to a different location.

    Cons

Leadership was lacking direction in the past, which trickled down. However that has turned around with some leadership changes in the past few years and is present at most companies.

  2. "Manager Review"

I have been working at Wavemaker full-time

    Pros

Good access to learnings and courses that will keep you equipped with the current landscape of change.

    Cons

Quality control of "specialists" needs to be assessed. It can feel at times that some people you work with need more training for the role they are in.

I have been working at Wavemaker full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - Good opportunities for progression and moving up in the business - Great social aspect - roof top bar, subsidised lunches etc. - Caring company mindset - they do want to make their employees lives easier through WFH, 2 hours per week to do what you want with away from your desk

    Cons

    - big company beholden to the WPP and GroupM mantra - maybe it’s my personality but I hate the annoying strategic bull**** of our offering ‘provocative planning’ it doesn’t sound human it sounds like it got spat out a bull**** generator - Payrises are hard to come by and unclear on how when these can be reviewed
