      I work with wayfair cause I feel safe working in it there is a lot to learn especially at maintenance I feel kind a young again too many things to know and learn I am happy to work with wayfair.

      actually there is no much side down at wayfair apart from some superior are bit arrogant and they treat the rest as they are second class which is really sad and salary compare what we do is really law .

      Pros

      Working from home Training was okay and helpful but what I learned in training what completely different to what I had to do ‘on the floor’ so kinda thrown in the deep end.

      Cons

      Honestly pay is bad for what you have to deal with (constantly rude customers shouting at you) Constant phone calls, people shouting at you all the time. You are unable to even action anything to help the customers most of the time, have to go and ask people in a help group chat, which takes a while for them to reply. Calls must be under 10 minutes but systems are slow, customers complain for ages, you can’t action most things so that takes up time. 30 minutes break??? Manager didn’t care about my mental health, asked for support multiple times but only got eye rolls. Was told it would be a mix of phone, emails, live chat during the day but ended up being on phones for 8 hours Can completely understand why customers are upset/angry as SSC’s can hardly do anything to help. Have to raise ‘tickets’ all the time which takes 1 business day for someone to get back to customer but that won’t happen a lot of the time, customer will call back asking what’s happening & repeat that 5 times.

      You can work from home

      Cons

      Goal posts move everyday. Minimum wage pay. Target driven. No breaks through the day except 30 min lunch. Unrealistic bonus targets. Not concerned with your mental health.

      Great benefits Good community feel Engagement is fun! Training is mostly good Inclusive workplace Remote work, great!

      Very much a call centre style approach to the role - managing every second of your time, down to bathroom breaks Management often externally hired over internal Feedback is asked for, often feels as though it is not heard or used
