Pros

- Supportive team mates because you only got each other when things get rough, which is often - Pay is alright because they desperate for talent due to the high turnovers. Can join for a quick jump. - Interesting perks but with lots of t&c attach

Cons

- Incompetent and inept people left right center and management forever making excuses for them - If you can do your job, great. You can do those incompetent people's jobs too - HR also incompetent max. Hiding behind policies and documentations but never do what HR is supposed to do. Everyone knows HR is not on their side. - Simple jobs also can be challenging because you need to deal with so many incompetent people. - People leave in batches every few months. Forever questioning WHY people are leaving but never realize is their own doing. Then try to pin the fault on those people instead - Everything is forever messy and all over the place. - So many shady things and secrecy but still shouting about TRANSPARENCY. Joke.

A lot of finger pointing and resentment

Pros

- Super reliable colleagues - Interesting perks like love allowance, holiday allowance, etc but it's after confirmation - Able to learn a lot very quickly

Cons

1. High turnover rate - Worked for some time and I always see BATCHES of people leaving every few months. - You're expected to quickly learn and take on a few roles at once due to the lack of manpower and this high turnover rate. - Webqlo introduced more perks and cool events which is great, but it seems to be overcompensating the fact that despite all these amazing stuff, they still can't keep good employees. 2. Management - Management refuses to look into themselves about why people are leaving. Instead, they like to point at someone to blame and say that because of this person, so many people are leaving. - They badmouth about past employees who left years ago to current employees. Not sure why they hold such big grudges when most of these past employees really did their best in their work. - No matter how much you contribute, you're considered a betrayer (by the boss) once you decide to leave Webqlo. - Don't trust HR because they're on the boss's side. 3. Overtime - Relates to (1) and (2). Despite the lack of manpower or ability to execute the campaign brief, boss still insists on taking the job. - Employees are always told not to OT, but are expected to OT anyway in order to fulfill the client's requests, otherwise they'll get reprimanded.

Webqlo Needs A Wake Up Call

Pros

Some colleagues are great to work with, but sadly those who are capable don't stay long.

Cons

- Some people here lack work ethic and are unable to complete basic tasks that are part of their job scope even though they have been here a long time. - If you are a capable employee, all the work will be pushed to you. - Upper management constantly playing the blame game, questioning the working team, finding fault in other employees or shifting responsibility to others instead of solving the root problem. - Stingy with pay, increment and benefits. They will always try to negotiate your asking salary. - Though he seems open to feedback, the founder is close-minded and lacks any understanding of the problems his employees are facing. Overall, you'll find yourself losing passion for any work you do at Webqlo.
