Compensation is below the market average and there are no opportunities for salary increases. Management is chaotic; the management team at the China HQ lacks understanding of overseas markets and shows no respect for the Singapore office. Some of them are not even able to read or speak English. The team is unstable; a large number of employees in both the China and Singapore offices have been with the company for less than a year. Professionalism is not respected. Decision-making is arbitrary, with no clear system for division of responsibilities and collaboration. The business lacks sustainable growth prospects, and individuals lack opportunities for learning and promotion. The work environment is terrible (excluding the atmosphere among colleagues in Singapore); managers at the China HQ frequently resort to cold treatment, verbal humiliation, discriminatory language, and vague instructions to suppress employees. There is no space for freedom of speech; opinions that do not meet management’s expectations are not only ignored and left unanswered but may even be used as reasons to criticize employees. Furthermore, all positive reviews here are fake; after some former employees left negative reviews last year, the company temporarily organized current employees to post false positive reviews.

If you care about your professional reputation and mental well-being, be very cautious. Management can be extremely toxic — they suppress, humiliate, and gaslight employees. Once you try to stand up for yourself, they may retaliate by spreading false rumors, including questioning your mental stability. Even after you leave, there may be attempts to damage your reputation.
