Respect the hardworking staff at wickes

      Pros

You could realise from seeing so many DIY / decorating products, what you could use to make improvements at home that you never thought of / knew existed.

      Cons

The amount of considerably heavy items you'll have to handle, whether it be putting stock out, or facing up, it almost seems like no consideration of employee comfort/ long term welfare has been considered with so much bending and lifting, Management seem to put their stress on you to get the work done, but they don't often seem to get stuck in. Might not be across all stores but since I've joined more people have started and it still seems understaffed. More work to be done than the number of staff can perform. Training suggests if your needing to ask any questions because your new then freely do so, ask any colleague or management staff. Yet they often don't seem to be wiling to take the time out of their work load to explain for you, probably as there is too much work to do / not enough staff to do the work.
