Pros
- Some nice coworkers at the company. I enjoyed working with a few of the people at the company.
Cons
-Management was very disinterested and toxic, this is the biggest problem. Strong blame culture on individuals when things go wrong. -The code is the worst I have seen in my professional career. Code review process was horrible, if you even got a CR at all. -Sweatshop culture. No work/life balance and frequent work demanded during off-hours. I was underpaid considerably compared to market rate. Poor benefits as well. -Leadership is opaque, flippant about goals, belligerent and talk more about their personal lives than the actual project. -No mentorship or training was available to me. -No one to voice concerns to. The head of HR, head of finance, and executive are all family.
