    Pros

    - good benefits and a very nice office in London (Paddington). - amazing product . - good people in the DACH team (though worn out by the UK (EMEA) Management.)

    Cons

    EMEA Sales management are not up for the job and not qualified or not bothered to to run an Enterprise business. Brexit spirit in the office (only the Brits can lead???) to work for Salesforce before shouldn't be sufficient to get a job at Zendesk. micro management. no strategy in EMEA. too much admin work.

    Advice to Management

    GO !! (EMEA Sales Management.)

    Pros

    Great People and Team Spirit. You find very inspiring individuals, with great market knowledge. It makes you enjoy going into the office everyday. There is also a good demand to the product that Zendesk offers and customers are (generally) happy! Company benefits are also good.

    There is a SERIOUS diversity problem in the London office. They just don't look into it when they hire - very few people of colour, very few muslims, very few women in sales!!! It's almost embarrassing this to happen in a city like London . Specially when the company promotes so much its diversity - are you watching what's going on in the London office?     Advice to Management

    Please take better care of your people. So many good talent left Zendesk because they were not given the opportunity to take the next step. You are missing big time here. Also, be more aware of your diversity policy. You can do better than this.

    Pros

    Good food and bar in the office. Stock options and health insurance.

    Cons

    There are too few sales managers which creates a bottle neck sales process. They also only hire middle aged white men into the Sales teams and the sales management team is highly disliked by most of the sales people. There is no career progression and no learning culture which means that Zendesk will have big problems down the line as this is the number one reason why millennials leave companies. They need more managers...

    Hire more managers and also hire more women into the business, its so obvious that so many of the sales managers are uncomfortable around women and it shows.

    - Great People - Great Benefits: healthcare, free lunch - Good Salary - Nice Products - Inspirational CEO - Teamwork - Company Events/Trips are great fun

    - Lots of changes (which you could argue is good) - No clearly established Vision for the company (or at least not communicated to employees). - Growing Pains: some things are set up in a very enterprise way (bureaucratic) while other things are extremely start-up style (no process, figure it out yourself). - Career Advancement: very rarely see people getting promoted (other than in very specific BD to Inside Sales...

    Advice to Management

    Focus on Growth while keeping the Culture. Identify Gaps where the company needs to Mature in terms of Processes. Stop hiring people into Senior Positions just because they used to work for SalesForce /Oracle and give chances to people who actually know the Zendesk poducts, what the company stands for and who our customers are.

    Inspirational CEO, laid back and in touch with the workforce. Great product, much loved by customers around the world Strong branding and marketing Good work / life balance Strong community spirit and CSR Bootcamp is of very high standard Some really nice and friendly individuals

    Terrible middle management for the most part, in particular at VP and DIrector level : old school techniques not aligned with Zendesk's startup spirit. Turnover at management level translated into very little coaching and guidance .     Treat your sales people with more respect. Don't ignore them when you see them in the corridor ! Take an interest in what they do. As a sales manager, it's your job to motivate your troops, and it's's a daily job, not a once in a quarter effort. Tailor your salespeople's objectives to their territories and book of business.     Pros

    - Free Lunch (make yourself - sometimes brought in lunch depending on department or if there's an event) - A chill environment (e.g. if you've had enough of working at your desk, you can work on a sofa instead) - Had fun events on (e.g Xmas parties, Easter, Halloween etc) - My Team were really nice (everyone at the office is tbh) - They really value the culture of the company.

    Cons

    - My manager wasn't the most efficient when it came to supervising.

    Make sure all the managers are supervising everyone below them.
