Harmful work environment--stay away

Pros

Absolutely 0 - this place will ruin your mental and physical health.

Cons

Where to begin? Senior leadership is extremely toxic and insecure, resulting in hiring and firing people on a whim. They will seek you out, recruit you out of no where, make you move to Indianapolis, and then once you've contributed enough of your skills to help Ashley succeed/look good, they will either fire you out of no where, or make your job so impossible, you leave for the sake of not losing your sanity. Extremely talented people are gaslit every day and treated so poorly by individuals who have 0 experience in media/journalism and definitely have no business being in senior leadership at a company like Audiochuck. If you think the recent Call Her Daddy news was bad, it pales in comparison to what happens at Audiochuck. At least CHD doesn't pretend to "love people" and advocate for victims and survivors in every episode's call to action. Audiochuck does, and in the background, Ashley and team treats employees like inanimate objects that can be tossed out at any moment. And finally, any "positive" reviews you see here are most likely from the same person trying to up the ratings. Take them with a grain of salt and strongly consider taking another job instead of working here.

Toxic environment with no integrity

Pros

Absolutely none - stay far, far away from this place.

Cons

This company is rotten and toxic from the top down. It purports to be doing good with fancy slogans but it is exploiting grieving families, crime victims and its employees. As a workplace, it is truly horrible, all the previous comments about gaslighting, abuse, toxicity, etc., are entirely true. There is no journalism being done, it's all about brown-nosing the top. Anyone still working there is a sycophant, not a reporter. Audiochuck and its top dogs are vampires.
