Pros

good pay and very nice colleagues

Cons

Projects are written on very ancient technologies and represent a bunch of legacy-code which it is high time to throw out or rewrite. Developers are lured here by telling tales that they will rewrite all of these projects into new technologies, although in fact no one will allow this to be done and the main activity on projects is bug fixing. Also, all initiatives to improve the code are being cut at the root, since there is neither time nor resources, all the more so under the conditions of a systematic delay in releases. Working on such projects all the time - there is a professional degradation. Salary revisions are carried out very infrequently and usually unchanged, only to create visibility and instead corporate culture is hovering - we are family and we work for mutual success, etc. The idea that we all had one family was broadcast by CEO a long time ago, but the Germans didn’t see any trust in the family members, so all security tracking software was installed on all workstations, and the information was stored and used by the managers. b-next management comes from "effective managers" and therefore works according to the classical scheme of intrigue-scandals-investigations with the punishment of the innocent. In the process of development, chaos and chaos reign, they are being tried to be solved by hiring more and more managers, the number of which in terms of one developer is already going off scale but nothing is improving. Managers due to a misunderstanding of how the system works only exacerbate the situation and set very ambiguous and even contradictory tasks, planning and organization of releases is also mindlessly. Some managers are especially pleased with the fact that they bring additional epic chaos and misunderstandings into the project, besides not answering and always discouraging responsibility. In addition, there is a problem of communication between the both offices, as the people do not want to lose their jobs and are trying in every way to slow down and sabotage the work. You also have to work under security restrictions and all incoming and outgoing traffic is filtered and limited (which is very uncomfortable), many development sites are simply inaccessible, which makes it difficult to work on finding solutions to problems. A standard German bureaucracy reigns in the company and every action (vacation, sick leave, business trip) requires a lot of actions and actions, which is very annoying and exhausting, in other companies it is much easier to do. All decisions are made very long. This company is more like a German collective farm than an IT company.
