eJam Is A Scam

Pros

The office is pretty cool.

Cons

Firstly, the only positive reviews on here were written by senior leadership, if you can even call them that. They fake their own reviews across the board, including all reviews of the products they sell. They incorporate the function on their product sites that tells you when, for example, “Cindy from Hollywood Ordered 3 Items!”, which are also fake. All of it is fake. When I was interviewed, I was asked if I would be able to commit to the job on the basis that I had a boyfriend and I might be distracted by that. I was never given a contract or an offer letter because the “HR Department” is the owner’s wife who rarely goes into the office. I was regularly in the office until 10PM because work-life balance is for quitters. I was yelled at for not seeing an email past midnight on a weekend. While I was there, all of the employees except for two were very young. I think a few of them were still in their late teens. I believe the owner likes the idea that he can treat his employees badly and conduct business in a super shady way and no one will say anything because they’re so young and inexperienced. Basically this place sucks and I’m convinced they’re using it to launder money or something. Definitely a scam.

Pros

I can't say anything good. The only plus is friendly hr managers

Cons

I strongly do not recommend this company. The owner hires people in batches, and also fires them. Every day you can see +5-10 new people in company and the same number of dismissed people. The salary promised at the interview is higher than they are actually going to pay. Very economical. They promise a lot, but these are only empty words. In general, the ceo tells stories about "how to build a big company". But in fact, he hires bundles of people from poor countries, and not knowing what to do next, he fires them. There is no friendly team in this company, there is no feedback, there is nothing good.
