Pros

Looks good on CV - particularly as FDI Intelligence is a division of the Financial Times

Cons

Very repetitive work, management appreciate those who suck up over those who keep their head down and get the job done - creates question of worth within the team, micromanagement at it's finest.

Pros

Flexibility to work from home sometimes

Cons

No opportunities to progress and management do not actively encourage this. Suggestions put forward in annual PDR's are rarely followed through. People have been a part of the team for years and remain in one position. Work is very repetitive and staff do not get many opportunities to work on different tasks as numbers is the priority (not staff development). The company is part of the FT which appears to be very active in trying to pursue equality and opportunity, however, the Belfast office (fDi Intelligence) does not follow this in their actions. There are favourites who get the focus and others who get left behind.
